Part 2 of Osaka 7 days travel :

4th day 20/02/2014 Tsuruhashi

Since I also fall in love with Korea, and i never been to Korea, so after heard that there is a Korea Town in Osaka, I definitely wont to miss that place. The area named Tsuruhashi. Sadly, I came there alone, and i went there before sunset so i think i missed the real active life of Tsuruhashi, cos when i arrived there was not many people, and some stores also already closed :(

But I still have chance to eat Korean street snack, tteokbokki (떡볶이) Topokki is a popular korean snack made from soft rice cake, fish cake and sweet red chili sauce. I ate topokki in good korean restaurant in Indonesia, but topokki in the one of street vendors in Tsuruhasi is better (y) hahaha sure cos, basically people living in that Korean town is Korean origin. Ah, I also found a judo-training place of Sarang's grandfather. Sarang is a 3 years old baby of famous Korean fighter and Japanese model. I watched them in reality show "return of superman" hahaha. I also found so many k-pop stuff in many stores in Tsuruhashi. Also, even though i was in Japan, the aura is chotto different from Osaka's aura. hahaha but i can't tell.

5th day 22/02/2014 IKEA and Dotonbori!

Okay, maybe IKEA is just like common supermarket for european, but fos us ASEAN people, IKEA is different, haha even though now Indonesia also have IKEA but still that time me and my other friends from Thai and Philippines were really excited to go there.

We went to Osaka Station, then took a free shuttle bus to IKEA Tsuruhama, Osaka. If you want to go there, check the bus schedule first in IKEA website:  http://www.ikea.com/jp/en/store/tsuruhama/access

After done with IKEA we didnt take a bus back to Osaka Station, but to Namba station. Just a moment walking, we arrived in Dotonbori-river.

We done a night walking and shopping in Dotonbori, where the landmark of Osaka placed. What's that? Yes, the Glico Man! Hahaha

I really enjoyed the atmosphere of walking there, before that I also went there on the day, but the atmosphere was different and better on the night. We took a pictures, ate Osaka traditional snack, takoyaki, then shopping. For shopping we went to little osaka, and bought many omiyage. And there was Shinsaibashi shopping arcade, 600 meter long of lifestyle vendors! After that we went home from Shinsaibashi station.

Icon of Osaka, Glico man!

A good place for omiyage (souvenir), but you can also look around on the another stores around little osaka, they may offer a cheaper price and different stuffs from little osaka.

Food that must be on your to eat list when you go to Osaka. Besides takoyaki, you have to eat okonomiyaki (japanese pizza) in Osaka.

But my recommendation, you should do in the reverse side. So Arrive in Shinsaibashi on the day, then do a shopping! After that you will arrive at Dotonbori and took a train home from Namba station.
